What you will do:
We are looking for a hands-on web developer specializing in writing front-end code to join our digital platforms team. We are looking for someone that loves to build websites, write code from scratch, and innovate. You will work with a globally distributed and diverse team whose mission is to delivery world-class web solutions for SAP. Your core responsibilities will be:
- Working on various web projects from front-end delivery coding to helping DevOps with some operational scripting.
- Helping to define and support coding standards.
- Running code reviews and looking at ways to optimize our development processes.
- Helping wherever needed in our overall web delivery.
You will report to the head of development & engineering for Digital Platforms within the Demand Generation organization of Corporate Processes and Information Technology (CP&IT).

- You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting and fixing code issues.

Core job requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a hands-on web developer with an emphasis on front-end coding.
- Experience writing code from scratch using several front-end frameworks and languages.
- Background in web content management is preferred.
- Solid understanding of web security
- Solid understanding of coding standards and working within a Continuous Integration/Delivery DevOps driven environment.
- Proficient communicating in English; secondary language is a plus but not required.
