Senior Java Developer

Infor is looking for an experienced Java backend engineer to join the Infor Artificial Intelligence development team. Infor Artificial Intelligence is a large-scale machine learning platform, which provides a modeling environment for building data science-based services without heavy development. Infor Artificial Intelligence is tightly integrated with Infor Data Lake, consuming big data from Infors business applications. Infor Artificial Intelligence platform is typically used for data preprocessing and transformation, scripting over data, and then building, training and deployment of AI/ML models. These models are then exposed as services and can be embedded in any process. You will be involved in all aspects of software development and have room to grow professionally.

A day in life typically includes:
As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software using modern best practices. You will work within a multidisciplinary agile development team, in close collaboration and cooperation with other talented software engineers, architects, QA engineers and business analysts.

Required skills:

* Extensive Java development experience.
* Experience with web services development using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
* Unit testing is a natural, intrinsic part of your work.
* Experience with Java development tooling (Java 17+, Git, Gradle, Maven, Docker, CICD).
* Experience with modern development process (SOLID programming, merge requests, code review, ).

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience with cloud application development and/or general cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Knowledge of Kubernetes.
* Knowledge of Python.
* Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, ).
* Knowledge of data science and machine learning tools and algorithms.
* Experience with generative AI (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ).
