Senior Android Developer

We are currently seeking a Mid Frontend Developer with experience in e-commerce or a strong passion for it. Your role will be crucial in shaping the future of online grocery shopping, where you will introduce new features and enhance existing ones to deliver genuine value to our customers. About the job

• Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team (ShapeUp) that includes frontend(web/mobile) and backend engineers, product designers, product owners and QA.
• Plan, develop, test, and launch new features and experiments using Kotlin
• Mentor other team members through pair / team programming, code reviews, and ad-hoc assistance.
• Engage with engineers throughout the department to discover and enhance our processes and systems collaboratively.

We'd Love You to Have

• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android platform including Android architecture components and Jetpack Compose
• Experience in writing tests
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is highly appreciated
• Interest in android app performance tuning
• Interest in setting-up CI/CD pipelines welcomed
• The ability to collaborate with Product Designers and Product Owners to deliver customer-oriented experiences.
• Experience working on larger projects and with continuous development.
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial environment.
• A pragmatic engineering approach that avoids over-engineering solutions and maintains high-quality code in a delivery-focused setting.
• A results-driven mindset that efficiently minimizes unnecessary complexity in solutions and demonstrates proficiency in preserving superior code quality within a delivery-focused work environment.
