Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end web framework features using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Drive architectural changes by profiling and improving UX performance and front-end architecture, in collaboration with design and leadership, leveraging AI-powered learning platforms and tools.
- Invest in the growth of an inclusive and capable environment by mentoring and training team members within the team and across the organization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience on front-end development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, with experience in front-end development and testing using frameworks like React, GraphQL, and FluentUI.
- Familiarity with accessibility-focused software development patterns and a commitment to inclusive design using web technologies.
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot for coding, code review, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies and adopt solutions from Microsoft or the open-source community.
- Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, communication, continuous learning, and critical thinking skills, with a solid sense of customer empathy.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies and a passion for using AI to improve team collaboration, code reliability, and customer outcomes.
