About the Role:

Drive the organizations data strategy, oversee complex BI projects, and deliver actionable insights to influence high-level decision-making. Serve as a key advisor to leadership, mentor junior analysts, and spearhead innovations in data processes and analytics frameworks.

Note: We are also open to a hybrid working mode and are looking for candidates from various locations, including Ukraine, Malta, Romania etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
• Design, build, and optimize complex dashboards, reports, and data models using BI tools (e.g., Metabase);
• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, dbt and SQL;
• Collaborate with executives and department heads to define data-driven strategies and objectives;
• Monitor and maintain data quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems;
• Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover opportunities, trends, and risks, delivering clear recommendations to stakeholders;
• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions;
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level BI analysts, fostering team growth and development.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or a related fields;
• At least five years of experience in a relevant position (iGaming, online products, e-commerce);
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze large datasets, knowledge in data discovering methodology;
• Understanding of metrics related to online business (web, product, CRM, general financial);
• Experience with web traffic analysis is a strong plus;
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and modeling;
• Experience with dbt for data transformations;
• Hands-on experience with Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and automation.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with Tableau and other BI instruments;
• Upper-Intermediate English (spoken and written);
• Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences;
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance frameworks
